I want a polyphonic sorcerer

2010-12-02 by Monroe Eskew

There are a few polyphonic CV keyboards being sold these days. Synthesizers.com makes a duophonic one. Club of the Knobs makes a 5-voice one. Doepfer is soon coming out with a 4-voice midi-to-CV module. There are other examples. I think it is time for a new controller from Analog

Hi there, Not sure if this is the place to ask, but i just wondered if anyone had any modules they were selling? I'm looking for an ADSR, osc and maybe a few other bits - interested to hear what you've got if you're shifting anything.... Have now doubled my mini-system to 6U and

The sine output is great because in addition to giving you (something close to) a sine wave, you can also shape it in two ways. With the tri/saw morph pot you can morph the sine into a curvy-saw which sounds good, and different from the linear saw. Also with the sine shape CV in,

they offer a broad range indede , but no easy way of turning a pot to go from ie : 20hz to 0.02hz in one swoop I think. I can't test it though, I don't have the module :-/ . An EMS synthi has an lfo pot of 10hz to 0.2hz if i'm not mistaken. Something like that I'm looking for. --

Hi, I bought the RS85 and I'm not that satisfied with it. Not because of the module but because I'm used to having 1 pot to control the LFO frequency. (Like the commercial synths have...) For instance I want to create A very fast to very slow sweep in a full anti-clockwise turn.

If you look at new modules that have come out relatively recently, there is a change in the screen printing. The font is bolder and the AS logo moves around. I wonder if this new style reflects a manufacturer change or simply an artistic decision. Also I wonder, some modules have
