My Modular Synth site

2002-03-24 by sasami@hotkey.net.au

It appears the server containing my primary synth site has crashed, and as it's on the other side of the planet to me, there's nothing I can do but wait. In the mean time, there is an older version at: http://otherunicorn.0catch.com/synth/ I have uploaded the latest construction

chime board

2002-03-07 by sasami@hotkey.net.au

A possible modification for the chime board has been suggested by Sean. He was finding the oscillator dampers were kicking too soon. His solution was to increase the 100k resistor on pin 5 of IC2B to 330k. This affect the cuttof point of both dampers. Ken ________________________

THe super psycho modulation source PCB and the Master Divider boards are now officially available. I'm completely happy with the master divider, so I am offering this batch at half price, as a "beta" board for those who want it. I still have to test the gate to triggert converter

There is something to say for the wavetable wave select as it stands too. As waves are grouped by tonal quality, advancing the wave in sync with a sequencer gives great tonal sequencing. Replace that with a a/d converter will pretty much kill that ability. Encoders would be great
