I'm burning-in several of Ken's Gated Comparators tonight, and I must say that a total pleasure they are to play with! (also with the lights dimmed-down, the music they're making is quite hypnotic along with all of the dazzling LEDS)! (Thanks Ken) Cynthia

I just uploaded a zip file with a set of panel layouts for the Psycho LFO, Wave Mult, VC Divider, Burste Generator, Gated Comparator, and Gate to Trigger. These are laid out in "semi-modular" fashion on 19" 1U panels. Bananas are used for patching, and all patch points are on the

Those holes were for an "emergency" spike suppression capacitor if I found it needed one in that part of the circuit. It ran fine without it, so you can leave it out. The cap would have been around 10 to 20 pF if it had been used. Ken >Hey Ken - > >There's a spot for a component

The most likely problem is the switches themselves, or your wiring to them. Make sure you haven't got any wires swapped. If both tri and square are very weak, it can't be the TL072 used for the triangle buffering. If all other oscillators are loud enough, it can't be the TL072 us

That will happen with the tri/square switch. Best to set it to square when you disable the oscillator. Why? because the triangle is taken from the opposite end of the same inverter as the square wave. When disabled, one end of the inverter is high, and the other is low. Ken >Well
