I had problems with faulty sysex data, but never fully corrupt, and it wasn t the MD s fault, I had to change the buffer settings in midiOX and it was fine

If your running OS 1.11 you can verify the sysex and the MD will check it against whats in its memory withought actually loading the sysex into memory You can
