HI I am selling a prophet 2002 with the rare 1 meg upgrade . THe unit also has had the disk drive replaced recently with a white disk drive that works great.

Best thing to do is get real DSDD floppies on eBay, they are cheap, also I found that if you use an old Mac to do the first format on the disks they go in

Yesterday i tried SDS the first time with the P2002 - it s slow but great :-) I used an older version of Sound-Forge. A 2,5sec-Sample needs about 4min (!!).

the OS is held in ROM in the machine. you don t need a disk to boot off. you can just turn it on and use it. ac

If you mean patches, then pretty much only Sound Design on a 68k Mac will work. If you mean samples, the any application that correctly supports Midi Sample
