As far as I am aware, all the Yamaha cymbals are made in the same way and of the same quality construction, so buying the ones for a DTXtreme doesn t get you

I assume the QY-70 is the sequencer with built-in drum sounds you want to use. You could connect the module to the QY-70 with midi cables and then the DTXpress
