Re: AW: [Doepfer_a100] a filter idea

You can put a compressor/limiter or AGC circuit after the filter and it can boost or reduce the gain to compensate for the level loss the filter introduces. -J On Apr 22, 2010, at 1:24 AM, yahoo@doepfer.de wrote: >> Is it possible to make an analog filter where you can continuous

Thanks, Dieter, for your reply. So the 177-2 does behave differently from the 177? Because I'm using the same footswitch as I did with the 177, and I never had this issue with the 177. Are the capacitors different? I'm not really equipped to do a modification myself.... And isn't

From my point of view it would be better if gate signals are available. Then you can decide the gate length (and consequently the time how long the A-150 switches to the second channel) by Midi note on and off events (like our MTC64). Best wishes Dieter Doepfer > -----Ursprünglic

Does your MT9 output 9 gates (i.e. the output remains high until the corresponding note off message is transmitted) or only short trigger signals ? If gate signals are available the A-150 should do the job. Otherwise A-151 can be used (in this case the state changes with each tri

Well, the thing is that my Doepfer 5V adaptor broke, so I haven't tested the MT9 yet, but I have ordered one that will arrive today. MT9: "Introduction The MT9 is a MIDI to triggering module. It allows triggering of a range of analogue devices; drum voice modules, envelope module

I use the A-150 as a gate; audio/CV signal IN1, nothing in IN2, audio out I/O. I know that the A-151 is capable of this - I have one myself - but since the A-150 is made of two identical modules, this would save me a lot of rack space. The thing is that I would need six A-150 ins

Even more strangely: If I have output #1 from the 177-2 double footswitch patched to the 165 trigger modifier input, and nothing patched from output #2, only pressing footswitch #1 shows up on the LEDs on the 165. Footswitch #2 appears to do nothing. So far so good. However, if I

just a quick note to say that the 183-3 actually does a perfect job bringing a single line out of the fa-101 up to the a-100's level -- the reason i was thinking i needed to modify it to bring up the levels was that i was using both inputs, which seems to cut the level in half, p
