I'd like to get $80 for the A118 and $85 for the A131. Both modules are in excellent condition. Right now I've got Plan B style knobs on them, so if you want those, you can have them. Modules come with screws and ribbon cable.

i picked up 2 copies of the 2nd edition from amazon.co.uk in the past few months for about 15 or 20 euroes - so its not always a silly price the book is also available as as pdf from the publisher Richard ----- Original Message ----- From: ilanode To: Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com

The 2nd edition is usually recommended though I'm not sure in which way it differs from others editions. IIRC it is larger (275pp) than the 1rst one. For good reason it's considered an essential reading by many. However, it is very expensive by now unless you can find it in a pub

(quick repost) Hey guys, I was wondering where to start on fixing this module. I have a 2048 step A-188-1 that passes a dry signal but nothing on the effected side (Mix control to "0": full volume dry signal, mix control to "10": nothing.) The only thing I noticed was that the CA

i was hoping to avoid the A-135,A144 route as these are quite heavy on HP real estate, but as Adam says morphing has gotta be a gradual change so I might try the A-134-1 Voltage Controlled Panner/Crossfader instead. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, Bakis Sirros wrote: > > yes

Hi Laurie, I am in an exchange with Tom (who makes the Oakley-modules) and we have the problem, that the Doepfer-suitcase only allows for 80mm to a maximum of 100mm depth... I do not know (yet) about the other cases but I have sent a mail to Doepfers yesterday with that question

yes, indeed. the a151 will provide waveform switching not morphing. if you want morphing then you have to get the a135 vc-mixer and a144 morphing controller. --- vcovcfvca wrote: > Hello Rob, > > I've used the sequential switch to perform this > function and it works > well. Howe

I kinda like the Doepfer aesthetics. Sometimes reminds me of the appearance of analogue computers or test gear from the 60s and 70s. --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "mcb, inc." wrote: > > On Mon, 24 Mar 2008, partlydrone wrote: > > > metal and metal is all a bit 1990s trance

Hello Rob, I've used the sequential switch to perform this function and it works well. However, be aware: it is a hard switching function from one input to the next as opposed to a "morph". To me a "morph" implies a more gradual change over time from one state to another. In the

Early modules had issues with the jack sockets. Cliff (the mnfr of the sockets) changed their design years ago though. Other than that, just cosmetics, crackley pots, dodgey rotary switches on the vco octave select, etc. Check lfo bleed across the power lines (ie listen to the pi

Hello, Altough the envelopes of the A-143-2 are very fast, I measured a bit less than 0.4msec on mine, they go directly into the decay stage. The minimoog has a +-30msec hold before the attack goes into the decay stage. You can recreate this by clipping the envelopes in a distort
