Re: granular processor & generato

i think a grain generator should have a very diferent aproach than a grain processor. this is how i see a grain generator: grains are not fixed samples, they are bits of samples put togheter or more correctly: a long sample is smashed into smaller samples (grains). grains paramet

FS: G6 + G3

2008-03-06 by Silas Johansen

I have decided to DIY some cases for my A-100, so I have one each of G6 and G3 to sell. Both are with the old 650mA PSU which is not a problem for the G3 as you'll never need more juice than that for 84HP worth of modules anyway and rarely a problem for the G6 - I've never given

You're going to want the A-119 External Input to beef up your signal to modular levels, and that takes a balanced input on a 1/4" jack, so get that and a bantam to 1/4" jack cable. The A-119 also gives you a nice envelope follower and a gate signal for added fun. On Wed, Mar 5, 2

So it boils down to what I say. Modular digital/analog granular synthesis is expensive! :-) A work around to this would be to get a multi-out sound card (say 8 outs), send a grain to each output (easily done with PD, Max, LiSa, etc.) and connect those outputs to modules... This w
