Hi John.. The A-137 is great, it can sound very electronic or organic/electric-guitar sounding. In fact, I based a whole piece around its sound - luxuriating in a bath of harmonics generated by the A-137 using a Plan B Model 15 as audio input and an additional Model 15 for modula

http://musictechnology.northwestern.edu/~meatlog/137wood.mp3 The sound source is a sine wave through the 137 with various parameters being modulated by the Plan B envelope for woodwind-like behavior. This was recorded at a time when I was using the BBD way too much for everything

There were no EGs used. Only the three modules: 1 Plan B Osc, A-155 step sequencer and A-137. The clicks were just a side effect of the arbitrarily selected 5 steps of voltages from the A-155 (at the 4v range setting) modulating the A-137 Multiples input combined with the initial

Thanks for your comments. There are many different Theremins nowadays... Some of them might actually produce sine wave. However, the musically more useful (including the original Theremin) instruments don't. The reason for this is explained here: http://www.paia.com/ProdArticles/
