Hi all WHy do I find it harder to find info on the Serge Modular synth, more than any other synth company? If I go to Synth pages you see everything from Buchla, EMs , Arp,Moog, Oberheim etc etc, but nothing on Serge?? Are we a secret society?

I have been trying to get the Dual Universal Slope Generator to act as an ADSR or even an AR. I am using the 1979 paperplate TKB I can tap the plate and change the Rise and Fall and it acts as a basic AR but it doesnt seem to stop the sound it just seems to amplify the Attack and

hi, thanks for the idea... i thought of getting an animal instead of a blue voice, but it would mean: not having a ring modulator in the system (very important to me), only two oscillators instead of three, and i've looked long and hard at the description of the smooth/ stepped g

banana jacks are tightened with nuts on the other side. It's better to open it up and tighten them. Rotating them puts a twist on the wire & might break the wire. be careful when putting the panel back together, watch for wires caught in mounting hardware. amnesia wrote: >well i

Take the knobs off first, then use a mild non-abrasive household cleaner & wipe up carefully. Be careful about knob orientations when putting them back on. If the dust is loose and not stuck on try compressed air or can of compressed CO2 or whatever it is. Yes, I clean my banana

Is that with a load or disconnected from panels? If it gives those readings disconnected from the Serge, the PS is bad or badly miscalibrated. If it gives those readings when it's connected to the Serge then you have a short in the Serge somewhere. pow333us wrote: >Seems the powe

Seems the power supply is only outputing -12 and +3 volts. Anybody know what would cause the PSU to give up 9 positive volts? It worked great for a while then a few days ago... Whining, why, PSU down 9 volts on the plus.

I'm sure Rex would repackage the unit with a new front panel. His rack mount panel and chassis normally cost $450, but since you already have the chassis, I would imagine it would cost closer to a couple hundred bucks. He probably even has panels in stock, since the TKB is a shop
