Another update...

Folks, The sample of the revised board set for the next P3 run has arrived, and I'm glad to say the mainboard is working 100%. Haven't had time to stuff the others yet, but at least the Cherry keyswitches fit ! There are some pictures here: http://www.p3sequencer.com/new-boards.h

Its a bit of a pity about the pcb standoffs showing through the aluminium. My slowly growing EFM (ele4music.com) system is in aluminium to match my first modular, the doepfer a100... A brushed aluminium p3 would look pretty nice on top of the doepfer mcv24 midi cv unit too... But

That looks really very good indeed. I know it was mentioned ages ago, but i particularly like the recessed sockets, so the rackmount option dosnt take up extra U. All in all very fancy. Julian

Parts/Paul's tutorial/question

I really haven't utilized the parts feature in the P3, and am dutifully following along in Paul's tutorial. However I am having the following issue. Part 1 has only track 1 activated. Part 2 has both track 1 and 2 activated. While the P3 is playing, this track status is confirmed

Folks, The new firmware build in Yahoo files is the first to be compiled since I upgraded to the latest version of the SDCC compiler. I've been bitten by compiler upgrades in the past, so I was cautious about this one, but with the P3 ROM full, I had to see whether it would help

Hi, In pattern edit you can set the note range over wich the note edit knobs will act. Is it possible to set the note range for each pattern or track independently? For controlling my Xbase I use a complete different note range, as for controlling my tb 3031. Cheers, Roel

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
