Hi, when connecting a synth at the Sync output, I get a 'MIDI communication error' on the synth. I've got board v 1.5 and would like the MIDI as well as the DIN sync option. So I soldered R36, R24, R25 and two diodes on D2 and D3, but omitted the resistors on D4 and D5. Then I so

Presuming you have a pattern with only alternate notes switched on, you can "sorta" simulate a morph into a 2 pattern mode by halving the timebase and turning on all the gates. As long as you've pre-prepared all the notes you're switching on it can produce some quite interesting

yea it's only 8 steps but you can string the steps together ( 16 sets of 8 steps ). Yea, it's a hair puller but once you ge used to it it's not so bad. Even though i couldn't get on with the P3, it's functionality was far greater than the Signal Arts. So take that Paul!!. . see.

it has a cool feature where you can trigger the sequencer tracks independently so you could stagger them or restart them manually, and even cross modulate them. i think the old zyklus mps could do something like that as well. wonder if the p3 could integrate this type of function
