Well, I think I figured out the cause of this. I had installed a Doepfer a-127 triple filter in the case last week and had been using everything together with no problems. The soldering points for the pins on one of the circuit boards for the Doepfer come very close to the lip of

Feeding 15 volts to a 12 volt module is in fact dangerous. But I'm not sure this is what you're referring to. 1) If you mean can you power a 12 volt module with 15 volts - don't do it. One, your warranty will blow along with the module. Not all 12 volt modules will die if you do
