These Wimas sound just right for the job. IF you are going to "huge" caps like 470n, perhaps put a 33 ohm resistor in series to take stress of the CMOS chip. Ken >I'm ordering parts for the ASR. Found this mouser part: >505-MKP20.1/250/5. WIMA metallized polypropylene film. It ev

The stardard recommended cap is the 47nF IIRC. I used that one, and the stock op amp and I am less than satisfied with the droop. I plan to change the S&H op amp to a FET input amp TL071 and probably change the cap to a 100n. So, I think this you list below may be a good choice.

I'm ordering parts for the ASR. Found this mouser part: 505-MKP20.1/250/5. WIMA metallized polypropylene film. It even says, "suited for sample & hold circuits." I think this is the right type of capacitor, yes? Now this is a 100nf part. There is a discussion on Ken's web page ab

You can also add a third resistor to make a third CV input, but this resistor will have only one end soldered to the PC board. My Synthacon panel has a pot for initial frequency, an FM input jack with attenuator pot, and a second CV input jack that is roughly 1V/oct, following Mr
