My SCSI Chain is Emax II (rack) EZ-135 EZ Flyer Esi-32. The only issues I face are I have to boot in a specific order (EZ135, Emax II, EZFlyer, ESi-32).

I m pretty sure you aren t going to be able to upgrade that unit. The 1Mb Emax II requires a daughterboard and I think those have been impossible to find for

Well, Emax obviously recognizes EZ-Drive, the message it shows is most likely related to the media(disk) itself, which has some foreign data on it I guess (?).
