do i edit the keymap via the instrument editor? if so, that too is a problem, it doesn t seem to see the *.exs files brought over from the CD where it sees

EXS-24 can use SDII, Wav or Aiff files on the Mac Still sounds like you have a naming issue, try editing the keymap to see what the names of files the Keymap

More than likely when you burned your CD-R on the PC the software truncated the names of your files to the bogus ISO Level 1 naming convention, at that point
