One more note on the 1400. I just unpacked it from the GT High Sierra workshop, and it survived its mule trip in and out for the second year without problems.

With Epson 1400 printers available from Epson as refurbs for $149 dealing with modifying the 2000P is hardly worth it IMO. I mean 7 picoliters for the 2000P
