I am also concerned. I just bought a R280 from Epson. This is a hobby for me. The printer cost $60. The set of inks for a CIS cost $300. Plus the CIS setup.

Hi Jay, Dmax is a measured spec. A good dmax number does not mean you want your ink layed down on it . These threads can indicate that you should TRY them.
