Yes. If you can t make your own icc profiles, just use the generic ones Roy provided(eg:RGBmatt or RGBphoto) for soft proofing in Pshop and convert to the gray

I think your problem may be paper that is to thick to go through the autofeeder. If you have rearloading options, please try that. Or use a thinner paper.
