Hello everyone, I am new to the BC2000 mailing list and would like to present a project I ve been working for quite some time. It will be good to see what

It is relatively straight forward. First you need to work out just how much (ie how many and what parameters) you want to control. Always the hardest part.

While the Jupiter 80 has a great touch-screen display, menu diving can be a pain. There is a ipad app for the Jupiter 80 that will give one quick access to

A byte has 8 bits. A bit is just a switch On or Off - 0 or 1 1111 1111 is the 8 bits grouped as two 4 bit nibbles. A nibble can have a vale of 0 to 15

Sorry this is in decimal, so leave out the $ before the number in your .tx line. All the best Royce

The Bank select MSB and LSB are in the manual on page 1 in the middle of column 1.

I have a problem with my BCR2000. It is working very well in Mackie Emulation mode with Ableton Live 9.1 but I have to reinstall the drivers every time I

I ve just got Mackie emulation up and running. It s excellent - just what I ve been trying to do. But what does vselect do?
2014-04-13 by <jerrysze@...>
Yes, I did install the USB driver for the Mac, which is strange in itself since USB is suppose to be plug-and-play, in my case, it did not work, no biggie
2014-04-12 by <trevormorrissound@...>
Hmm, I dont have a mac but I had a similar problem when I first got my bcr2000. I don t know if mac osx installs some sort of legacy usb driver or something
2014-04-12 by Tom Cuyt
I don t have a Mac, but I know the BCR needs a driver. Did you try installing it?
2014-04-12 by <jerrysze@...>
Yes, that s as far as I got - I manually mapped the BCR controls, saved the blank project as a template in Ableton, so I can use it for the next project. I

Hey guys you should manually map all your vsti s then SAVE YOUR PROJECT as a template, either the default set or save it as like Template Set . Open that set

@biggles_no1 I also want to do this. In fact that is why I bought the bcr2000 in the first place but the whole thing is too confusing and I am not even sure it

Is your BCR set to USB mode? Or just connected to a midi interface? What is your DAW?
2014-04-11 by <jerrysze@...>
I am struggling with it as well, so far I only managed to map Spectrasonic Omnisphere manually, i.e., with the VSTi open in Ableton, right-click on the control

In mackie emulation you get what you need. Check the forum for downloads etc. There is also some youtube stuff available. I use this mackie emulation for

You can only automap 8 variables at a time. This is what it says in the ableton documentation and countless threads on the ableton forum. There is no

Yes, mapping it manually works fine, it isn t too bad for one or two VSTs, but it would be good to learn how to do it automatically (or even

Never mind, panic over. I suspect it would have all been a lot faster if I hadn t searched for an answer and just worked it out myself.

Please, can someone direct me to a simple guide to getting this working on Mackie mode. And I stress the word simple. Surely somebody has done one?
2014-04-09 by <trevormorrissound@...>
I can tell you now there is no established way to get the bcr to control all vst parameters without you manually mapping every single one. The automap feature

Live scripts only allow auto mapping of 8 variables. What u need to do is change the encoders to match the cc numbers of your controller. If you grab the

Interesting Idea, However when you intend to support the same set of synths as Kiwi does, that is not going to work! Using the BCR-2000 will use only when

Yeah, I was thinking of doing the layout for dual osc subtractive synths with similar architecture (ex. Mks-50, Jx-3p, Jx-8p, ex-8000, mircoQ, Matix 6r, etc)
2014-03-29 by <rpcfender@...>
As there are no standards in either CC control of VSTs or hardware synths it would be a bit hard to create a standard for a controller. It would be great if

I ve got a gal in Diddy Wah Diddy! Umm, just to stay on topic, uh, she had no contructive advice regarding replacement pot numbers.

The problem is that you can use 14 bits to represent numbers from 0 to 16,383 or -8192 to 8191 Midi doesn t care what you thinking the number means, but being
