IC 9 has a chip where an Emax 2 is MONO. IC 10 has a chip where an Emax 2 is STEREO. You would never have BOTH IC9 and IC10 locations filled at the same time.

Bank error could be corrupt bank or corrupt HD catalog. You could: boot from floppy format HD and see if it completes. if it fails, the HD may be failing.
