IDC on the connector is 50 pins. 68 pin is like a DSUB connection. IDE drives have 40 pins and Apple did start using them in some Macs. Count your pins.....

That is the same firmware I have, as far as I can tell (without loading it actually into a PC and looking at it). v1.28 is the latest (which is what that is).
