emax2 is the same display as for the vfd i get mine direct from noritake uk but they do have a noritake usa you can order direct that oled display is in yellow

As Jammie informed me, it s where the pins are located, on the yellow display the pins are on the left like in the original emax display so it can be replaced

look good will work but you will have to wire it the same way as the vfd for it to be a 1 for 1 drop in replacement you need the 14 pins to be side parralel

yes and no if you dont have one then you need to cut the lcd and the connector so that you can desolder 1 pin at a time if you want to keep the connector then

the lcd is fualty you might spend ages with pressure trying to get it right and a small nock will set it of again get a new oled same fitting no rubbish

I think your confusion may come from the fact there are several different types of displays (EL (original item) and LCD) and circuit layouts for displays.
