yes it will only work on lun 0 which is the ata device pcmcia16bit card slot as the emax is scsi version 1 before lun support came out thats a scsiII protocol

The pcb50b is a SCSI device. To my knowledge, you need an EMAX I/II with SCSI in order to use it. The JM215A is just an adapter to go from a standard floppy
