no as its what was set by emu in its rom we are taking 25+ years machine when 20mb was massive for a hard drive its impossible to format any bigger as it wont

you can take out the pcmcia card then remove the cf card and put a new card into the pcmcia adapter then place that into the pcmcia slot as that slot is hot

Strange. Error 87 does not mean that EMXP thinks the disk is not formatted well. It means that it can t access drive J (e.g. because there s no disk in it).

I knew the chips aren t socketed. But they are common 74 series chips easily available, that was the point. Not like if the Rockwell 6500/11 scanner goes bad
