... This is apples and oranges. The ES2 is in a class by itself. I don t think it s fair to compare the two. The ES2 is comparable to a $750+ hardware synth.

Akai sample conversion on PC

I have recently upgraded to XP everything works great outside of Logic 5. when I convert the akai samples in the EXS editor the program tends to lock up.

Not wanting to put exs down, but... In Gigastudio this is done very easily. You can assign any midi message for switching samples, as well as the keyswitch
