If your looking for more distortion you ll want 2 12AX7 s rather than 12AT7 s. The AT7 s have less gain. isandlun wrote:

You could try 2 things... 1. If they are the original tubes you may want to swap them out. 2. Play around with the EQ a bit. The sound might be there but
