You need to replace the battery inside. I believe it is like the EZ-CZ cart s that have a single AAA battery inside. Replace it, and it should work fine.

I run my CZ-101 through a MAM warp9 filter, which is designed after the edp wasp synth... warms it a little bit and allows for some extra modulations. Mikael
