Hi Peter, In my experience the Doepfer is much more extensive, better conceived and more reliable than the Analogue Systems. I'd start with the Doepfer Basic system 2. The only thing I would possibly change ( but this is personal preference ) is that I would use Plan B Model 15 V

You will need to send it to a filter or/and use the lower delay settings, this is what all analog delays do(you just don't have control over it normally) I believe Doepfer has a dual version of a switched cap filter in the works to compliment the 188 modules: http://www.doepfer.d

hello Silas, i have all the Analogue Solutions percussion modules and use them all the time. (as raw sounds, or processed) i like them very much! but, some of these modules may need additional +5volts power, that the doepfer PSU does not supply as standard. you better ask Tom Car
