As Brian as mentioned you can use either driver any time. But if your issue is making B&W transparencies it s probably the 720dpi which is giving the poor

The download diskimage is read-only -- same as pretty much all CDs and distributions. Just drag the folder onto your Desktop and then you can modify it. Roy
