I have had the same problem with used 720 K disks. Try formatting them in your Disklavier. The Giebler Utility program (about $60)also formats 720K disks.

I I tried openining a MIDI 1 file in a windows program called Cakewalk Pro and saving it as a MIDI 0, using the SaveAs menu. That seemed to work OK.
