A Commodore SX64 would be a much better modular fit : ) If I ever do it, which I currently doubt, it would at least be interesting since it has "built-in": audio input cv mod available via software and joystick interfaces But I'm sure I'll probably just end up frying a couple...

Yes, that mini in a modular thing looked really cool about 4 years ago. The problem I'd have with it is that it's guaranteed to become obsolete long before the rest of your synth. And it doesn't really DO anything that can't be accomplished with a good midi to cv converter, so yo

Hi Erik, Where are you? In the US, I think DotCom is not making much money off blanks. I hardly make anything off my MOTM blanks, and they are simpler as far as mechanics (no bends or cuts) and paint (no taping off). Even then, you probably won't get them for cheaper unless you o

If you want to print fine details you should use a 300 mesh screen. I have been using standard water based acrylic inks, and they seem to be holding up fine, but with the fine mesh screens, you may have to thin it out a bit or it may clog the screen. If you do need to thin the ink

Looking at the schematics, it would seem indeed that both the CD4046 linear vco's should be set up with 1/4" switched jacks such that a standard (Q106) vco under keyboard control, 1/12th volt/semitone could be patched into the arrangement. Other places to add switched 1/4" jacks

Erik, You should be able to skip the 9V mod if you want to. There are no parts that will be damaged by running the WSG off a straight +12V or +15V supply. Who knows, with a bigger supply voltage you may be able to get even more wackiness out of the thing. James >From: "Erik Karl
