I used to boot off an internal zip drive (until the zip drive itself died) it will work... however it s not really a solution for most as usually the reason

Yes it is, but only on an EMAX-II (unless you change it). Not on EMAX- HD/Plus. The internal HD of an EMAX-HD/Plus has the ID set to 0. You can remove this

As far as I know the Emax Plus can only boot from either floppy or SCSI 0. So you ll need a SCSI device which can have the SCSI ID set to zero. External ZIP
