Can you see the message on the LCD for the SP-12? If you can, Go to Setup and perform a CLEAR ALL MEMORY, CLEAR ALL SOUNDS. Check it that brings your sounds

Sounds like you blew the power supply, probably just one side of the voltages, possibly just the fuse which is there to protect such things. try
