Problem is normal floppy drive formats to 1.44M size. Emax formats floppy to only half of that -720k size. Normal floppy has jumper set to DS1 (disk #1). Emax

Yes, I have been using floppies formatted on the Emax. It sounds very finicky, so i ll do it another couple dozen times or so. Hopefully it ll work!!! - Peter

also dos 6.22 is not necessary, you can use a more recent dos version as i did, so that even fat 32 partitions can be recognised. http://newdos.de/ davide ...

i did a SE upgrade myself creating the floppy from dos, just following the directions you can find on this mailing list homepage.
