It is what I do and it rules. Logic doesnt crash like it used to on my PC and I have a dedicated giga workstation, and two other PC s running softsynths only.

You may want to try using Awave (www.fmjsoft.com) to convert from .gig to .sf2 and then import that into the EXS. Don t know how good Awave does the job
