The only cure for the green/magenta problem is a RIP. This software is available free of charge from Roy Harrington, or you can buy one from various vendors.

My feeling is that you buy a 2200 to use the Ultra Chrome inks and you should use them in that printer (even if they are expensive). The 1270 should do great
