My simple advice is to get a multimeter and learn how to use it. Check for shorts between your power rails, and maybe take your problem A-190 and the 5V regulator out of the case and check for shorts between the power pins there as well. If all this is too much to figure out on y

I got an answer from Shawn Cleary from Analogue Haven concerning the transformers and power supplies for A-100 DIY#1 and #2. So far they found only a suitable transformer with 1100mA for A-100DIY#1. That's why the A-100DIY#1 in USA were delivered with an 1100mA transformer only.
