Hello, Why not posting a screen shot of your Mfx2 when it is at the "BOOT ROM" step ? This gives a lot of information about the configuration. It is often done this way on eBay.... Regards. Laurent.

Hi Brian, I was lucky and managed to buy a brand new 8 \u201c drive here from a private seller here in the U.K. The CMI series 3 and CMI 2X use the same 8 R20; drives. Normally Mitsubishi , YE Data or Qume. My CMI 2X has two YE Data YD 180 drives. SCSI is completely different. I

Series III on eBay - Software Revision, 9.34?

Item #7321597020 Is this definately a rev 9.34 machine? Check out the loading screen screen (where the Fairlight logo and address is displayed). I've not seen one like this and It's dated 1991, whereas my 9.34 is dated 1992... Any differences? Cheers, Peter

My IIX monitor is smaller than yours.....

Hi Tim, No, my CMI 2x did not come with the breakout box. I do not know of anyone who has the interface for the Syco \u201c conductor \u201c card. Maybe some other guys on the list know some more about this card. It has been very quiet here lately but maybe it will pick up soon !
