It's Alive! My P3 is now a living breathing sequencer thanks to Steve V and his diligent work. And to Colin for helping diagnose a few issues. It's got v4 loaded. So where do I begin? What documentation do I need to read to get going? Thanks in advance! Ivan

I used to use my Atari 1040 ST to sync to MTC and SMPTE code and it worked flawlessly. Should have kept the system, but I got rid of it when the PC's began to look more appealing. Has anyone tried to run CUBASE VST to sync with the P3? Even though the version of Cubase is not as

i think the reason that cubase no longer slaves to external clocks is that it messes up their sample accurate recording or something like that. the way i use the p3 with cubase is as follows: i send the midi out from cubase through my soundcard and then to the P3 then to my synth

Wouldn’t it be even more efficient just use each bit for a chord type? Major, minor, augmented, diminished, etc. with some 4th, sixth, and sevenths, thrown in and just use the note value as the root? If you wanted to get fancy one of the other auxs could set the voicing/inversion

I've used chords a lot on my P3s- I may have been one of the first to ask for these particular aux events, & was certainly one of the first to ask for them to be live-recordable. so- I have a couple of ideas. if it's possible to have an aux event that works in tandem with the FTS
