I don t see why going to a CIS would fix problems you are having with carts... CIS usually causes more problems, but is worth it because it saves you money.

... or ... The best results I ve had on the Epson 2200 with Black Only ink was to use Arches Infinity Smooth in the lighter weight. Those make excellent B&W
