When I designate VFA, the Epson driver tells me it is switching to manual roll , I then can choose OK or ignore. If I choose ignore, I load it the same way

I have found that especially with Ultrachrome MK you need to shake the carts occasionally, especially when they get low on ink. I do that at least once a week.
