Swapping wires in the footswitch w o u l d work if there are both normally open and normally closed contacts in the switch itself. Never opened one up to see.

If you are handy, and you don t want to use the pedal for another keyboard, you can open up the footswith and reverse the 2 wires. You many have to solder them
