Did you make sure you are using a 720K disk to write the image to? They are 1.44MB floppy, but emax only reads / writes 720. So it MUST have the hole covered

The SCSI-IDE bridge I ordered (ACARD AEC7720U) includes a jumper which provides SCSI bus termination. I just hope the SCSI-IDE bridge recognizes the CF-IDE

You can format the zip but you won t be able to boot to it, since the Emax I only boots to SCSI ID# 0, and as you pointed out the external zip has only IDs 5
