Toward the end of my wet darkroom phase, I began applying wax to my prints. It gave them a sheen (or shine), but also appeared to darken blacks and midtones.

Dead even on Eclipse and Museo, and the MIS is all pigment...the Gen 4 is 25% dye. Gen4 is better on Hahnemuhle and EAM than Double density. Robert ... Robert

I don t have any problem with PiezoBW, MIS Perpetual and Indelible inks. Epson 1270 inks were also nice. Using 1160 annd 1270 printers. Its my understanding

Barry, you won t get blacks like that with any matte paper, except possibly if you varnish the prints. But you *can* get a look *very much* like those prints
