When Elektron first sold the SidStation they didn t have a 115Vac adapter for the USA so you had to buy your own here. I have a Radio-Shack adapter on mine

um... the Sid makes noise... but that s because of the Mos chip... they say that they did a lot to quiet the noise of the chip down, but i still keep it quiet
