Hi, The Emax II needs to use SCSI drives, like the Conner CP-30540 (540MB). You could use an IDE to SCSI converter card (which the ESI certainly works with)

Hi, Depends. Some upgrades need a PAL chip (see our web site for details), but all need the OS upgrade diskette - which tells the OS of the new memory size.
