It pulls ink from all of them, as far as I can tell. It s the pump under the ink pad that pulls the inks through the head. It cannot pull from just one set

The generic base does not eat the sponges. That was from the dilution base used for Eboni-6 by MIS. It may have been restricted to the particular carts MIS
