i accidently deleted a reply to this post from Bakis, i believe he said an easy fix was to use a VCA after the phase shifter... i don't consider that a fix, i consider that a work-around...to fix the problem would be to reduce the noise level, not hide it...depending on the sourc

A-125 phaser (noise issue)

I just got this module ,seems to work ok besides its terribly noisy. My soundcards noisefloor is at about -90db withoout this plugged in whe i plug it in it shows -47db so over 40 db of noise... Is this normal for this module or should I send it back?

I would go with G6 cases. First two I would put in a slanted tabletop rack, next two in another rack, and if I were to get any more after that I would build, or have somebody build me, two racks with a slanted front for the lower 12 units and a vertical front for the upper 6 unit
